Quilt Camp is coming fast! We still need additional teachers.
Your help is needed!
What is Quilt Camp? A day filled with workshops, fun, laughter, and learning designed just for us quilters. The teachers are all those wonderful people sitting next to you at every Guild meeting. There are still openings for you to volunteer to teach a class, we all have something to share. Come learn from each other and leave with new friends, projects and ideas.
Thanks to the teachers who have already signed up currently we have teachers for 37 sessions on a variety of subjects. We have some wonderful new classes on the schedule. Quilt Camp is your chance to take up to four classes taught by fellow Guild members at the bargain price of $10.00 for your registration (note: some classes may require a kit fee or the purchase of a pattern or book). Look for class descriptions and registration forms in your next couple newsletters.
The event happens on April 17th and 18th, 2020 at the Scottish Rite Center.
Setup will be Friday morning from 9:30am until we are finished.
Classes will be Friday 1:00pm- 4:30pm and 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Saturday 9:00-am noon and1:00pm-4:30pm.
Teachers will have samples for us to look at the November meeting, along with a class description and a supply list.
Registration will be available in January and our members will have priority until the end of February. We will then open registration to family and friends and nonmembers. We hope to fill the classes to make this a profitable event.
We will have a sign-up sheet at the February meeting for duties that we need help with at Quilt Camp; such as entry table, set up and tear down, clean up and a few miscellaneous jobs that keep things running smoothly. Please consider when you can assist with these chores and we thank you in advance for your help!!!
