March Program: Nancy Brown, Quilt Artist

Nancy is from Oakland, CA and her specialty is animal quilts and she creates animal portraits with hand appliqué. She makes these quilts because she feels that animals are an important part of this world and should be celebrated and preserved for future generations. Her quilts are all hand appliquéd and quilted, with the piecing done by machine.  Her quilts are original designs and fall into one of four categories: pets, wild animals, album and family quilts. There will be a workshop entitled "Dogs and Cats."
