Heads up Everyone! The January 27, 2021 meeting will be Bolt-to-Bed! For those new to MVQG, Bolt-to-Bed is a day set aside for making comfort quilts. It is a won- derfully fun event. We start at 9:30am and go until we stop! Usually around 8:00pm. But...

Due to Covid limitations, we cannot meet in person. Nonetheless, the Board of Directors still wants to move forward with Bolt-to-Bed, we will be sewing in our
own homes while coming together virtually by way of ZOOM. This will be new and different for all of us. Hopefully, all will join and everything goes smoothly!

Changes due to COVID: Kits available for pick-up January 26th 2021

First of all, Comfort Quilt Kits will be available for pick up at the Scottish Rite Center on Tuesday, January 26th from 11:00am-1:00pm. We have over 50 kits available to choose from. We also have many panels available if you want to choose one of those. Along with the kits and panels, backing and batting will be available for pick up as well. We will set up two tables, to comply with social distancing guidelines. In addition, mask wearing is required during pick up. There is no sign-up required, stop by and pick up a kit, let’s see how many quilts we can make in a day!

We are going to meet virtually via ZOOM. A link will be sent out in an email,
prior to the meeting.

The ZOOM will start at 9:30am on January 27, 2021 and will be “live” all day. Join at any time throughout the day and stay on as long as you like. You can continue to ZOOM while working on your quilt or you can take a break and check back in later. We want to keep things flexible but also thought it would be nice to have set times where we come back together. We have set “check-in” times at 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm and finally, 7:30pm. Feel free to show your prog- ress during those times and chat with other members. Hopefully, by the 7:30pm “check-in” we will have some finished tops/quilts to show!
