Color is the first thing you see when you look at a quilt. It captures your imagination and leads you to take another look at something that interests you. Through all of my teaching experiences I have simplified how I approach design and developed my own color vocabulary. I will be sharing tips with you to help you in your design exploration.

She will explore several methods that she uses in composition and discuss how to approach design as well as how to use color in innovative ways. She has owned The Stitchin’ Post in Sisters, Oregon, USA for 49years and written over 30 books. Her daughter, Valori, is now running the store.
