Do you want to explore quilt design in a more intuitive way, explore new ways of working? In this class we will do some cutting without rulers, which creates gentle curves and some nice design lines. You will choose a palette of fabric to work with that I bring. You will create a small wall hanging that will take you through a simple design process. Color and various forms of contrast will be focused on during the entire process. Intuitive Color and Design and Journey to Inspired Art Quilting are references. 

$10 lab fee 

Supply list :

Sewing machine in good working order, small or med. size rotary cutter with new blade, 6" x 24" ruler, scissors, box of pins, neutral thread, 36” x 36” design wall (no tablecloths please), chalk pencil, journal.  Optional: digital camera

I will be supplying the fabric for our project.  I will be introducing you to some other design concepts and will talk about finishing. My goal is for you to go home with lots of ideas and design possibilities.
