Morning Meeting

  • Scottish Rite Center 4090 Commercial Street Southeast Salem, Oregon, 97302 United States (map)

Every Mid-Valley Quilt Guild meeting is an opportunity to discover something new. Throughout the year, we welcome nationally recognized quilt artists, authors, designers, educators, and industry professionals, while also celebrating the talents and knowledge of our own members.

Whether you're looking for inspiration, new techniques, creative friendships, or simply a room full of people who share your passion for quilting, our monthly meetings are the perfect place to be.

This month the Guild offers the two different programs at 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM featuring the renowned quilter Giuseppe Ribaudo. The morning session will feature a trunk show

Guests are encouraged to attend. A $10 guest admission is collected for non-members.

Featured Program

Teresa Coates

AM Program: Quilted Clothing and Patchwork Apparel

Teresa Coates is a quilt maker, pattern designer, and sewing teacher based in Portland. She has been sewing and quilting for more than 40 years and is the host of the YouTube show “Make with Teresa.”

Quilts often stay on the guest bed or in the cedar chest, but it’s time to take your quilty nature and bring it into your wardrobe. We’ll talk about ways to incorporate your piecing and quilting skills into coats, dresses, tops, bags, and shoes, with lots of inspiring examples.
