Joining The Guild

Not at all! Members range from beginners to experienced quilters, and all skill levels are welcome.

Yes. Prospective members welcome to attend meetings and newcomer gatherings to meet fellow quilters, learn about our programs, and experience the Guild before becoming a member. A guest fee may apply for non-members attending regular Guild or Newcomer meetings.

We offer both Individual Memberships and Business Memberships.
Individual Membership provides access to Guild meetings, workshops, member resources, special events, volunteer opportunities, and the Member Portal.
Business Membership includes all the benefits of an Individual Membership, plus recognition on our website and the opportunity to connect with our vibrant quilting community.

Yes. Memberships are renewed annually and support Guild programming, education, outreach and community service projects.

Yes. Our new website allows you to join or renew your membership online using our secure registration and payment system. Member Portal & Website Access

The Member Portal is a private section of our website created exclusively for Guild members. Inside you’ll find helpful resources including Guild bylaws and policies, newsletters, board meeting minutes, forms, annual reports, member library, and other member-only content.

If you’ve signed up for a membership and paid your annual dues online, be sure to check your email to verify your account. (If you don’t see a verification email, please check your Junk folder.) After that step, you can use the email and password you entered to login to the Member Portal.

In 2026, we transitioned to a new website. Current members have received step-by-step instructions for creating their Membership Account and accessing the Member Portal. Once your account is set up, you’ll be able to log in anytime to view member-only resourcces.

Absolutely! Volunteers are the heart of the Mid-Valley Quilt Guild, and there are opportunities for members of every experience level. Whether you’d like to help at events, assist with community service projects, join a committee or lend your skills behind the scenes we’d love to have you involved.

Registration information is available on each event page. Many workshops and events allow online registration through the website, while others may also offer printable registration forms, payment by mail, or in-person options. Event details, deadlines and fees will always be listed on the individual event page.

There are many ways to make a difference. In addition to volunteering, you can donate to support the Guild’s educational programs and community service efforts, participate in Comfort Quilt projects, contribute handmade items for local organizations, or become a Business Member if you own a quilting-related business.
