Workshop with Nancy Goldsworthy: “Threadplay” 10:00 AM – 4:00PM

Bring your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies (scissors, bobbins, etc), Nancy will provide the different threads and teach us the ins and outs of different types of thread, tensions adjustments (top and bobbin), and tips and tricks for successful use of specialty threads.  Fee for this workshop is $30 for members, $40 for non-members.

Workshop with Sew Kind of Wonderful: “Flower Pops” 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Jenny and Helen will guide us as we make their pattern “Flower Pops.”  Fee for this workshop is $45 for members, $55 for non-members and also requires the Wonder Curve Ruler and Flower Pops pattern.  A supply list will be emailed to participants.

Mel is a modern quilter from California and is passionate about teaching and lecturing.  She has taught at Road to California, Pacific International Quilt Festival, and many other venues.  Her quilts have been juried into national quilt shows and traveling exhibits, she has published in books and magazines, and she was featured on Quilting Arts TV and The Quilt Show with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims.

Workshop with Mel Beach:  “Intriguing Interleaves”

Unlock the fun and intrigue of Lorrie Cranor's Interleave quilts.  All the secrets of creating the illusion of curves and transparency using only straight line stitching will be revealed.  Best of all, Interleave quilts are assembled using a quilt-as-you-go technique, so your unique Interleave quilt will be pieced and quilted at the same time!  Fee for this workshop is $45 for members, $55 for non-members.  A supply list will be emailed to each participant.
